Champagne Reef

Dominica is a very volcanically active place.

At Champagne Reef there is an area where methane bubbles up from the bottom

and sulphur colors the bottom red. The bottom there is also crazy hot and sticking your fingers into the sand can't be tolerated for long.

Not that I would know.

Fun While It Lasted

I dropped my camera and cracked the waterproof housing today.

To make matters worse, we leave tomorrow AM for a week on Dominica!

Luckily I have an older smaller one I'll try to remember how to use.
