Our friend Charlie has introduced us to the ginip tree.

You can tell it's a ginip because each bunch of leaves look like a moko jumbie
You bite into the tough skin of the little green fruit to reveal a gooey inside. There is a little bit of sweet meat which you suck on until only the seed is left.

It's very yummy!

I remember these from living in St.T and don't remember them terribly fondly. They're weird little buggers...
