Mystery Fish

I'm pretty sure its some kind of goby, but I can't find it in any fish ID books.

It looks like its mouth is full of eggs though, so there'll be more of them around soon.

These Three People Have Known Me My Entire Life

(17* 46' 48.59" N 64* 47' 17.77" W)

It was so nice having my family here! Hopefully we sent them back exhausted, but still wanting more.
Though I'm pretty sure they've had enough of American Airlines.

All Week Long

We managed to find some time between showers to do some sightseeing.

While we were at Fort Christiansvaern we watched a waterspout form and nearly take out a few sailboats!

Things cleared up later just in time for pizza and a sunset at the beach.

Invasion of Buck Island

We took my visiting family out to Buck Island

The weather held just long enough to tie up and do some snorkeling

My Mom considered staying.

Rough Day At The Office

We saw some dolphins from the dive boat today

so I jumped in and took some pictures.

They had a little one with them,

so they weren't really hanging around

but that didn't stop them from letting the little one take a real close peek at the weird thing in the water.

Look at me! I'm a flippy little dolphin!

New Species

Looks like sea grass, but it was drifting sideways towards our boat's stern line.

Turns out its a little filefish that I've never seen before (and fish ID is part of my job).

Until I find out otherwise, it shall be known as a Gay Filefish.

Here's video.

Now I'll have to examine every blade of grass that floats by.

I love them.
