Lisa and I stumbled upon the wildly popular science fair last weekend.
A lot were really quite well thought out and many had to do with alternative energies and battery efficiency. Some were just taking up space. And a few were asking some hard questions,
with some hard answers.
But the question I wanted answered most was-
Where'd the frog go?

I noticed on Google Maps that there's a boat sitting on the bottom of the harbor.
so Lisa and I took or trusty little dinghy to go check it out.
After descending to a whopping 12ft of depth, we saw the bow take shape out of the murky water.
It was much less exciting than I had hoped. There's basically a big fiberglass hull filled with holding tanks, wires and cables, two diesel engines, a washing machine, and a ton of little reef fish.
I found out later that it sunk during hurricane (wrong way)Lenny in 1999.

This is her starring in the Marion Memorial Day Parade.
Placing a wreath that was as big as her in the VFW ceremony.
Representing the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Making the front page of the Science Hill yearbook as the former homecoming queen at her 50 year reunion.
She's pretty amazing.
