Not sure why, but the shadow of our plane on the clouds had a halo around it from Richmond to Miami.

Aquatic Fix
Having been dry for 2 weeks, it was nice to see some of my friends from work.
The bonus was hanging out with my parents (back when my dad was still 69) and re-introducing them to some of the guys they've met,
some they haven't,
and some that I hope none of us runs into.

Stars
I jumped in to the water today to inspect a buoy. When the bubbles cleared I saw that all the stars were out.
Couldn't help picking out constellations.
