and found time to attempt an Avocado Key Lime Pie.

It needed a little more lime, but I'm willing to keep working as a taste tester! Purl, I'll have one waiting for you when you visit!

The pie looks phenomenal--Lisa, will you share the recipe? Also, the police keep goats?! That is seriously awesome.

Lora, I don't think the police mean to keep goats, which makes it even better! It was the only highlight of my DMV visit.

Avacado Key Lime Pie (a la Anita):
1 avacado (they're huge here. I'm sure there's a variety that's best, but I don't know what it is. Not sure if they puny CA ones will cut it...)
1 cup fresh lime juice
1 can sweetened condensed milk

Blend, pour in a pie shell, put in freezer until firm.

One day I will try this pie you've been talking about...Oooh, Lisa, you would have loved the key lime cheesecake I made for Tippy's party this week! I don't like key lime or cheesecake, but there was raving!
